At the heart of the Abbeyfield Movement, Abbeyfield UK provides supported sheltered housing to almost 2,000 older people via 200 shared houses. Experiencing the perfect balance of privacy and security, our residents enjoy their independence plus all the support they require, including home cooked meals. What’s more, in many cases they benefit from the additional support of numerous volunteers, adding substantial value to the services we provide.
You will help us build on our success, as you take on a role within IT Department – enjoying a real and positive impact on the way we think and work across the organisation.
We are currently advertising for an IT Manager and would welcome applications from internal applicants.
Interviews take place on Thursday and Friday 2nd and 3rd of October 2008.
As part of the interview and assessment process, we would like applicants to make a 10 minute presentation to the interview panel. The subjects of the presentation is as follows:
"What has interested you in this vacancy and what personal competencies will you call upon in carrying out this role effectively, can you provide practical examples of where these competencies have been used to good effect in the past?"
